An unexpected journey into the innermost self.
This photographic series by Mónica Polonio weaves digital technique and visual narrative with emotional intensity, turning each image into a mirror of self-discovery.
About the exhibition
What was born as an academic project became a personal revelation. The End of the Beginning combines the precision of digital photography with the power of visual storytelling to shape a story of inner transformation.
The result is a sequence of hieratic images, expressions held in a silence that longs to be voiced.
The exhibition is conceived as a visual journey, divided into seven sections, where each image flows into the next. We recommend following the gallery numbering to experience it fully, as envisioned by the artist.
Monica Polonio
Photographer and designer trained at the School of Art & Design of Alcoy, with a solid background in product and editorial photography, art direction, and digital retouching. Alongside her professional work, she develops personal projects that reflect her most intimate artistic expression.
As a visual artist, her research focuses on the relationship between subject and environment, using photography as a medium to narrate identities and emotions.
Her education is ongoing, and she is currently expanding her studies in forensic photography at the AEICF (Spanish Association of Scientific and Forensic Imaging).
In a world where where the way we experience art is evolving and new technologies are transforming how we connect with culture, Aram Gallery blends digital innovation with artistic sensitivity to keep inspiring and bringing people together, anywhere in the world.

in-person exhibitions
After the great reception of the group exhibition “Mediterranis” at Els Magazinos, Dénia, last January, the exhibition is again available to the public until June 28, 2025 at La Torre dels Ducs de Medinaceli, in El Verger, Alicante.
